What are credits?

  • Credits are simply another way of buying your data within Business Search PRO.

What are the benefits of buying with credits?

  • You don’t have to use a credit card every time you want to buy your data.
  • Credits enable you to benefit from volume discounts – the more you buy the cheaper they become!
  • We offer credit promotions so these can also help you benefit from discounts on your data.

How do credits work?

If you want to download your data into Campaign Manager within Business Search PRO you will need:

  • 1 credit per standard data record (company name, address, contact name, telephone number, years established and number of employees).

If you want to download your data into an Excel spreadsheet:

  • 1 credit per standard data record (company name, address, years established and number of employees).
  • 1 credit if you want the phone and/or fax number.
  • 1 credit if you want the Thomson verified contact.
  • 1 credit if you want the website address.
  • 1 credit if you want the Companies House contact.

So for a full data record, downloaded into Excel, you will need up to 5 credits.

How many credits should you buy?

  • With every Business Search PRO membership you get a minimum of 600 credits.  Use this initial amount to give you an idea of how quickly you use them and how many additional credits you might need to purchase.

  • Alternatively you can just buy additional credits every time you make a data search and compile a new list.

  • If you are unsure how many credits you need, speak to your Account Manager for advice.
