Deduping is the process of removing identical entries from two or more data sets such as mailing lists. Deduping allows you to remove duplicates from the resulting search set before viewing, saving, or printing the data set.
The Match/Dedupe Data function within Business Search Pro has been designed for you to clean your existing data from any new data you are planning to purchase.
You can initiate the search by selecting an item(s) from the desired Index in the Search Form and transfer to the Search Strategy by clicking on Search.
Then click the Match/Dedupe Data tab in the Search Form, you will have the opportunity to select the option by which you wish to exclude duplicate records. Simply copy (maximum 5,000 records) and paste the corresponding column from your data into the form and click on Search.
This will automatically transfer to the Search Strategy and the final results in the Hitlist will exclude records that are exact matches from your existing data.
