Thomson Local recently commissioned an outside agency to analyse and compare its database against that of 3 competitors. 

The agency found that Thomson Local had the highest score amongst the 3 competitors, proving we have the best database in terms of the depth of data:

• 96% of Thomson records have at least one Senior Decision Maker contact name (average 86%).
• 95% of Thomson records have the number of employees recorded (average 86%).
• 92% of Thomson records have the date the company was established (average 75%).
• 43% of Thomson records have a company website listed (average 19%).
• 28% of Thomson records have an email address (average 11%).

Thomson Local records are, on average, also updated more frequently than competitor records.  These results clearly show that Thomson Local not only has the most in depth data, but the most accurate data too.

Only 3% of the Thomson Local records had an incorrect address, compared with 15% on average.  And less than 5% of the Thomson Local records had an incorrect telephone number compared with nearly 25% on average.

These great results are a testament to the monthly verification process that we undertake to maintain our business data and show that our database really is a cut above the rest!
